There are so many other aspects to life, so many opportunities you have and will get where your weight is the last thing that matters it can go screw itself. Girls, (and guys and others) losing weight shouldn't be the only thing that makes you happy. ![]() ![]() My other biggest annoyance was that Danielle started feeling better about herself when she lost weight. Maybe it's because I was raised in a very conservative household and this stuff is usually not talked about with men, but I can't possibly be the only one who felt incredibly awkward while reading this and knowing a man wrote it. Now that I think about it, my biggest problem is that a man was writing about girls getting their periods and stuffing their bras, which is fine, I guess, but it makes me so uncomfortable. ![]() ![]() I read this in 4th grade, when I didn't even know what periods and boobs and bras were. ![]()
